A collection devised from the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi often described as appreciating the beauty in imperfection. Associated with the sense of piece with the natural process of life. accepting that things are impermanent allows us to appreciate the beauty and melancholy of it all, this philosophy shifts the perspective from one that chases perfection to one that appreciates what is.
Classic workwear and Japanese traditional cultures is where my main inspiration for designs branch from. Creating clean cut soft tailoring styles that have a relaxed and practical approach, with focus on the small details ensuring everything has a purpose. Nature and architecture are a big influence to my colour palette using soft muted tones, which is also reflected in my fabrications, high quality lightweight crisp cottons sitting beside technical waterproof nylon and cotton ripstop.
