‘Iteag Dhen Bheatha’ (A trace/hint of life) is an exploration into the timeless, human urge of leaving a trace to be remembered. The AW27 collection reinterprets ancient Pictish artefacts, modern mark-making and traditional Scottish dress through contemporary womenswear. Exploring the tension between organic and man-made through experimentation of contrasting fabrics and textile manipulation, the collection investigates how identity, memory, and craftsmanship are preserved through time.
