Rooted in the industrial heritage of the North East of England, this collection explores the region’s rich history of heritage workwear. Drawing inspiration from the utilitarian silhouettes of coal miners’ uniforms and the robust textures of the North East’s coastline, I explore how function and environment shape garment design. Japanese workwear further inspires my design practice through distinctive silhouettes and approach to craftmanship. Working with 100% British wool mixes to create durable textures, this collection offers heritage inspired knitwear reimagined for a contemporary market.
